  • Ross Ritzel: The Visionary Behind RR Landscape & More

    In 2018, Ross Ritzel seized a unique opportunity in the outdoor industry, allowing him to establish RR Landscape & More—a dedicated service catering to commercial properties in the Denton area. With a history in the landscaping sector stretching back to the early 90s, Ross’s expertise is underpinned by a deep commitment to exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

    A proud retiree of the United States Marine Corps, Ross brings discipline and focus to his work. He is actively engaged in all facets of the business, from meeting prospective clients and designing innovative landscapes to overseeing daily operations. His hands-on approach ensures that each project reflects the high standards that RR Landscape & More is known for.

    Ross has been married to his wife, Sabrina, for 37 years. Together, they have raised three children—Shelby, Colt, and Carr—and enjoy the company of their two grandsons, Calvin and Cooper. In addition to his professional pursuits, Ross finds joy in his hobbies, particularly growing and hunting West Texas Mule Deer, as well as hunting migratory and upland birds. This blend of family, passion, and professionalism drives Ross's dedication to enhancing outdoor spaces in North Texas.

  • Colt Ritzel

    Colt Ritzel joined his father, Ross, in 2021 after gaining valuable experience as an equipment sales representative in the agriculture industry. A collegiate athlete, Colt pitched for two years at Vernon Junior College, and his final two years of school at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, where he earned a degree in Business Administration.

    Equipped with enhanced business, communication, and management skills from the corporate sector, Colt began his journey in the family business as a landscape maintenance crew leader to understand the foundational aspects of their operations. Currently, he serves as the liaison for all maintenance accounts, both commercial and residential, managing maintenance schedules and property follow-ups. Additionally, Colt leads the irrigation sector of their business as a state licensed irrigator.

    His commitment to innovation drives him to continually seek improvements in the business initiated by his father, focusing on education to maintain his license and deepen his understanding in horticulture care, artificial turf and outdoor lighting installations.

    Outside of work, Colt enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Taylor, with whom he has been married for five years, and their baby boy, Cooper. He finds joy in traveling with his family, training retrievers for hunting trips, and the pursuit of archery hunting during the fall months.
